<p>05:00 – When you see commercials for semi glutides or GLP-1&#8217;s,  they&#8217;re compounded, the feds have made those against the law out there and now illegal to compound, beginning next month, so you use a name brand prescription. The reason for that is because, when you&#8217;re doing the peptides, they aren&#8217;t regulated, so you don&#8217;t know. It could be a guy in a bathtub in China with his cat, and they&#8217;re making them, and you&#8217;re pumping that into your body hoping it&#8217;s going to make a difference. </p>
<p>28:40 – So without sounding too sarcastic with it, so in that same vein, if you say people want to be healthy, people that we talked about asking like the GLP compound of drugs, or the GLP weight loss drugs, people healthy will also start eating healthy. If you&#8217;re taking those medications and you&#8217;re just eating one piece of pizza instead of three, that&#8217;s not help.</p>
<p>31:20 – The metabolic ones, insulin, blood sugars, leptin, ghrelinn, adeno, pectin, etc. So when you start to control those metabolically, you start to burn more unhealthy fat than sugar, which is what people try to control on the Keto Diet, right? The Keto Diet is not bad as long as you can sustain it. But the average person can&#8217;t sustain it, unlike you&#8217;d mentioned, you&#8217;re able to do that. The average person can&#8217;t necessarily sustain that. So the way you keep weight off forever is you find a way for that particular patient so they can have the freedom to eat what they want, &#8220;within reason&#8221;, and still lose weight. So psychologically, if you feel like you&#8217;re not dieting and you&#8217;re losing inches of fat and weight, we&#8217;re on the home stretch. </p>
<p>52:55 – I was looking at again for a panel of like, 20 med spas that are starting this, and they&#8217;re getting rid of GLP1&#8217;s, they&#8217;re going for a program. The average patient loses 32.8 pounds. This is within a 90 day mark, and they lose up to 20.2 inches within 60 days. The average person loses two clothing sizes, or 10% of your body weight in 60 days is a very safe bet, like bet your house with a kid in it and take it to the bank.</p>

<p>The impact of children seeing mothers inject weight loss drugs to lose weight versus making healthy choices comes to them. Our own girls have told us over and over and over again, I can&#8217;t believe how bad everybody else eats, or I went to my friend&#8217;s house and the whole family is literally sitting around consuming bags of chips, and I couldn&#8217;t believe it. There wasn&#8217;t fruit, there wasn&#8217;t anything like natural veggies with the meal. They&#8217;re just astonished that not everybody does that, who needs that. So it&#8217;s, again, it was kind of an aha moment to me that you&#8217;re impacting families, and that how far that goes with kids and everything else as well. For all the women out there that have children or men that have children, that can become more aware, this is what they see and what they learn.</p>

<p>04:40 – I&#8217;ve always been a strong swimmer. But as I got into triathlon training, I realized I was actually a strong floater, and I wasn&#8217;t the strongest swimmer. That is, I was very buoyant and so I mistakenly thought that meant I was a good swimmer. That was a whole entire different beast and my first try was a pool swim, a short one, then you go into open water swim. That&#8217;s a whole different animal too now that you got currents to deal with, even in a small body of water. It&#8217;ll expose every flaw or weakness you have in any technique.</p>
<p>17:30 – I&#8217;m going to build up to that Ironman level of training. But with that comes incredible expenses. entry fees, all of that stuff. I mean, just simple stuff like hydration, nutrition, and that sort of thing. Buying shoes, because I&#8217;m a big guy, I wear out shoes, bicycle stuff, everything has a huge expense. Let&#8217;s not forget I have three daughters. I&#8217;ve told Vinnie before I live in a trickle down economic system in my house, nothing trickles down to Dad, I&#8217;m the afterthought.</p>
<p>24:15 – I had gastric bypass back in 2006 and I lost a good chunk of weight. Like a lot of people though, I started putting the weight back on. Roughly, around 2016-17, I was pretty much back exactly to where I was when I had gastric bypass beforehand. So I&#8217;ve tried to have gastric bypass again, because oddly enough, and I say this in quotations if you can get both or whatever. It was the only thing that ever worked for me. Which is kind of ironic because I&#8217;m trying to have it again because it didn&#8217;t work for me.</p>
<p>26:00 – So I downloaded a PDF, just saying screw it, I gotta check this No Sugar No Grains out. It was a simple list of don&#8217;t do this, don&#8217;t do that. I&#8217;m married, so I get this list, I&#8217;m pretty good at it, but I still didn&#8217;t do anything about it. But one day, we were out front in the front yard. At the time, my two and a half year old daughter ran out to the street. I&#8217;ll stop right now, nothing bad happened, because it&#8217;s a very quiet street, but she was already in the road before I can even get out of the chair to get to help her. Once I was out of the chair, I couldn&#8217;t catch up with her. I was that horribly out of shape and it killed me. Knowing that I could not perform the most basic function of protecting my child, because my health was that poor. So I just told myself, I gotta give this NSNG a try.&nbsp;</p>
<p>27:20 – I thought in, my head, that I was 450 pounds. After I started to lose weight. I started cleaning out my closet one day, and I realized I was wearing the exact same size clothing I was when I had my gastric bypass surgery now as a size 62 pant and in roughly a 7x shirt!</p>
<p>38:20 – I&#8217;ve learned how my personality works, I need to have a goal. When I have a goal, I am really dedicated to my training, my eating, and everything like that. So that&#8217;s when I announced it. So I paint myself into a corner and not like, do everything I can not to look like an idiot, if I just kept it to myself, or finally put myself down. I am looking to gain support down the road from companies. I&#8217;m not trying to get any of the glory out of this whatsoever, I can care less about that. But I know what it&#8217;s like man to be so hopeless. I don&#8217;t feel like anyone else has been more hopeless than what I felt, so I want to use this platform and this journey, going into this Ironman dream. All to spread the awareness of an event and our NSNG Lifestyle to just let other people know that you can too. I&#8217;m nobody special.&nbsp;</p>
<p>55:00 – We were taking my mother to the airport and the reason why she would get upset upon leaving was because she didn&#8217;t think she was gonna see me alive again.&nbsp;That&#8217;s a punch to the heart and how I felt, my health was so poor that I couldn&#8217;t protect my kid. My selfish decisions were so bad with my health. My selfish decisions with eating were also destroying my parents inside. They just didn&#8217;t couldn&#8217;t tell me, they didn&#8217;t know how to tell me. So just that lifestyle is just really hurting so many people I loved. It&#8217;s hard to tell, but it&#8217;s hard for them to tell me, but I found that to be a really, really, really powerful thing when she finally told me that.</p>

<p>11:00: One of my good friends who&#8217;s also a coach uses this illustration&#8230; He says, there are only a few things or virtually nothing that will motivate humans as much as seeing progress. So you have to have a why. Then when you put in the effort, you want to be met with momentum and progress. Otherwise, it&#8217;s very discouraging.</p>
<p>20:00: We need to know what your body type and goal is, that&#8217;s going to massively influence our approach. Just because two people are of similar stature doesn&#8217;t mean that we&#8217;re going to approach it the same way. They may have very different goals. I need to know about your lifestyle. So even as simple as carbs role in your diet are going to be influenced by your lifestyle.</p>
<p>29:30: Just for representation, we&#8217;ll discuss this based on thousand calories a day. That will help illustrate this well. Now on this island, are skinny people, fat people, men or women, young people or old people, everything. We&#8217;re going to give them all 1000 calories a day. Then we pick them up a year later. Every single person that comes off that island, their new metabolic rate is 1000 calories a day they are burning exactly what they&#8217;re taking in or they don&#8217;t come on.</p>
<p>42:00: They want to know, well Angelo, what is MetPro? Is it high carb or low carb? Is it a gluten-free or a dairy-free thing? Is it vegan? Is it vegetarian? So just so that all the listeners understand, we actually go right down the middle. We&#8217;re diet agnostic.</p>
<p>51:00: We have a lot of entrepreneurs, a lot of guys and gals in their mid to late 40s and into their 50s. They all have successful careers and they call me up saying, you know, what&#8217;s important to me now is my health. I want fitness, I want health. It comes back to the old adage of the ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you recognize this is an area that you can improve in, oh my gosh, the rest gets easy. All of my business entrepreneurs, all of my people that attack their career with passion, they will all tell you they&#8217;re more profitable and they are more productive with their health. They feel better about all areas of their life when they respect themselves and take care of their health and their fitness.</p>

<li>[11:35] If you’re a food addict, you’re using food, there’s a difference between eating food and eating to live and using food to cope. So you have to learn different tools and techniques. So with that, when you are feeling major stress, which is life, you’ve got to learn how to calm yourself down. Learn how to not go to the food first.</li>
<li>[20:00]&nbsp;This is what I’ve learned and from observing and listening and watching the people who are morbidly obese.&nbsp;300, 400, 500, 600 pounds, like the My 600-lb Life tv show, I noticed one thing in common. People are not going to like me when I say this, but it’s what I believe. There is an emotional maturity level, their EQ, not their IQ, we’re talking about here. Some of them are very intelligent, however, we’re talking about EQ here, emotional maturity is what they lack.</li>
<li>[30:00] I love that there’s a person who lives in my area and she’s big on educating the kids. I think that’s wonderful. But I think it’s futile. Because a child does not go food shopping, the child does not make their meals, you must as a parent, take that responsibility. I’m not knocking parents, I believe every mother wants the best for their child and they’re doing the best that they can. They really were just uneducated on these topics.</li>

<p>You have got to be you. Everybody’s pain threshold is different but you’ve got to know when you hit it. When I was ready, I was done. There wasn’t enough. I had eaten every food more than 1000 times. I was so done because I just couldn’t take the pain anymore. The mental insanity and the physically uncomfortable feelings meant that I just was done.</p>
<p>I was like, you know, I’m 45, I’m halfway through my life! I’m not willing to continue to live this way anymore. I have three young girls and I have to be their role model. You get one shot at life. Just one!</p>

It starts with that because when you love them, it gives them permission to love themselves. They feel like failures and they don&#8217;t love themselves enough.</li>

<p>My name is&nbsp;Lydia&nbsp;Hunt. I am a wife and mom of two kids, 4 and almost 2.&nbsp;I started my <a href="http://crossfit.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CrossFit</a> journey in May 2014 after baby #1. It became an important part of my life. I kept a modified training program up until 37 weeks pregnant with baby #2 in 2016. I continued the same CrossFit routine, after giving birth, for over a year before I realized I was gaining weight due to bad nutrition. Let&#8217;s not forget to mention how sluggish I felt every day. Isagenix came into my life at the right time and turned it around almost immediately. <p>Part 1:</p>
<p>My number one goal in life right now is to help transform lives or pass on the knowledge on how to transform. All I do is encourage people every day to do something that they already have the strength and power&nbsp;to do. Just waking that up and finding the tools and the community that really gives you that fire and that flame to do what you already have inside of you. Everybody has it and has it inside of them!</p>
<p>Part 2 Sum-up:</p>
<p>Ultimately transformation starts with the person who is transforming. They have to make that decision themselves. For me, the hardest thing is to not push people. If somebody says no, it&#8217;s just not the right time.&nbsp;They may never get to that place.</p>
<p>Doing what I do is about transforming lives.&nbsp;Transforming lives starts with informing people. Letting them know that hey if I can do it, you&nbsp;can do it. I don&#8217;t think that I give the people the courage that they don&#8217;t already have. All I did was awaken what is already inside of them. Every single person has the strength to do what I have done. I am NOT special, I say this to people all the time.</p>

Kevin found out the hard way. Through poor lifestyle and environmental choices, Kevin developed a Melanoma Cancer. Although he was a fit guy, his fitness was built upon a foundation of poor sleep. Kevin made critical lifestyle choices and is now healthier than ever. This episode is about the importance of sleep and lifestyle choices.</p>

<h2>On This Episode You Will Hear:</h2>

<li>[spp-timestamp time=&#8221;01:22&#8243;] Kevin left College in the 80&#8217;s, he went back to where he grew up in the Palo Alto area. Kevin got involved in a number of startups in the 90&#8217;s, he was the typical Biz Dev Executive working 80-90 hours, traveling excessively, not getting enough sleep but he worked out every day. He thought he was on track. Then came the late 90&#8217;s into 2001 and the Dot Com crash. He had stock options on a startup that went public. The shares went from $100 a share to $1 a share in 60 days. An inner layer of stress started to form. Kevin was a guy, during that period of his life that thought sleep was overrated. As long as he kept working out things would be OK. Moving forward to the summer of 2006, Kevin had a mole removed, just a straight forward procedure. He gets a calling saying he needs an emergency procedure to remove some skin from his neck as he has a pretty serious Melanoma (Type of Skin Cancer).</li>
<li>[spp-timestamp time=&#8221;03:55&#8243;] One of the things Kevin got really good at as an Executive was when lots of drama and chaos comes up, Leadership and Executives fall into one of two camps, they are either a problem solver or you are part of the problem and chaos. Kevin had developed quite a good reputation as a problem solver so he began systematically asking questions at the Doctors office about the problem. He kept a level head despite the stress surging through his body.</li>
<li>[spp-timestamp time=&#8221;06:02&#8243;] At the point in time Kevin had the Cancer, he had the belief the Cancer was to do with family history but he came to find out since then it was much more to do with his lifestyle that put him at risk than it was any family history.</li>
<li>[spp-timestamp time=&#8221;07:33&#8243;] In 2009 Kevin was known as &#8216;Fat Kevin&#8217;. Now he wasn&#8217;t obese, but he looked obese. He was heavier and started to trend towards type 2 diabetes. This was from following the conventional advice from the Doctors. He was back to working out at four in the morning five times a week. He wasn&#8217;t getting enough sleep and was starting to move towards a different direction from a lifestyle stand point. He knew something was not right still. After listing to a Podcast about the Paleo Diet, Kevin knew he had to start looking into it. It wasn&#8217;t about the diet he was interested in, it was the lifestyle concept. A Doctor Friend, Dr. Jack Kruse, challenged him to go look at the incidents of melanoma and look at the further you are from the equator are the incidents. Kevin started to change his lifestyle. He began to focus on sleep and getting a healthy dose of sunlight. What happened was he got really healthy. His blood marker ratings went from a 6 to less than 1. He dramatically reduced the inflammation in his body. All by changing his environment and his lifestyle.</li>

If you are in an environment where you have way too much blue light, you are indoors way too much, you can take Vitamin D Supplements or even Sun outside and remarkably our bodies do not react.</li>

<li>[spp-timestamp time=&#8221;22:00&#8243;] Melatonin Production. Coincidences of low Melatonin and chronic diseases. Stop playing Russian Roulette with sleep. You can whack your Melatonin in a number of different ways. The first is not sleeping enough and not sleeping at the right times.</li>

If your light/dark cycle and Circadian rhythm is out, you should be working our less, it is the quickest way to burnout. True health and wellness is built on the foundation of good sleep and good nutrition.</li>

Do some of the non-intuitive things, take a look at some of your lifestyle choices, are you poisoning yourself with blue light at night or are you falling asleep with the TV on in the bedroom or are your blood markers showing you have massive inflammation, focus on that then come back and look at your workouts. Workout less more is not better.</li>

This is not only for health and wellness but also the dark side meaning, chronic diseases, and potentially early death. You should be focusing on optimizing our lifestyle and environment. In other words, we are not going to be optimized if we are inadvertently destroying our foundation.</p>

<p>At the age of five, Joel fell off a 30ft high bridge. He ending up in a three-week coma as a result. Part of his <strong>ReLaunch</strong> involved him getting into Karate, eventually reaching black belt and even teaching Karate.</p>

<p>Doing is the new planning. You could spend hours, days, weeks putting together a business plan or a personal growth plan. In the end, you could have something that resembles something that looks like a small house. But you know what? That still does not do anything regarding accomplishing your end goals. That will definitely not move the needle in your bank account or your health and fitness lifestyle. It&#8217;s not going to move the needle in general. &#8220;Do&#8221; something today vs just planning it. If you can only walk to the end of the street, then do that. If you can only take a short drive, then do that. If you can only eat a healthy meal or healthy product today, do that. Just do something because that is how successful people move forward. They realize doing is the new planning, so stay motivated, and <strong>ReLaunch</strong>!</p>
