<p>11:00 – It&#8217;s not about trying to create false positivity or be in a positive state all the time. Life is going to throw things at you. You&#8217;re going to have ups and down flows. You&#8217;re not always going to be in a good mood. I am not always in a good mood. I have stresses. We all, we all have stresses, right?</p>
<p>36:00 – If you don&#8217;t want positive messages, just text back pause positive messages, and it&#8217;s going to turn those off for you. Then you can focus on your gratitude journaling, your three good things, your dream journaling, or other meditations. You know, we have all kinds of activities now. You can turn on daily meditations, gratitude reminders, and/or three good things. You may be getting four texts a day at least, maybe even five sometimes, so you should adapt it to you. </p>
<p>46:30 – Before they started at all, they took a modified differential emotion scale questionnaire, MDS questionnaire, and that questionnaire is 20 questions. It&#8217;s available for anyone to use on take two minutes, but ideally, it ranks your positivity against your negativity. So it gives you a score of how positive or how negative you are. </p>

<h2><strong>Our Final Words of the Show: </strong></h2>
<p>That quality time by yourself is doing something. It can be yoga. It can be meditating. Obviously, Take 2 Minutes is a lot of meditations. But definitely spend some quality time on self improvement every day. Yes, it&#8217;s tough. I know, I have Take 2 Minutes. I&#8217;m the CIO of a company. I have another company I just started. So I have a lot going on. There are days where I feel like I wake up at 5am and I really want to start working right off the bat, but I know that&#8217;s not the healthy thing to do. </p>
<p>The healthy to do is to spend a good 30 minutes on myself, whether it be journaling, yoga, meditating, exercising, or something positive. I gotta spend some me time, otherwise the whole day is not going to be as productive as it could be. So I think that&#8217;s what I would like to share with everyone, is find a way to spend time improving yourself. That is a very generic term, because improving yourself is different for each person and the time of day you do it can be different for each person too. Maybe it works better for you after work, maybe it works better for you before bed, but definitely take time out for yourself every day to improve who you are and get yourself into a better mindset.</p>

<p>05:20 – I really wish I had been introduced to this 20 years ago as it would have saved me a lot of suffering. I suffer from a condition called tinnitus and it is a ringing in the ear. I maintain that condition and it was caused by eight years in the US Army,&nbsp;</p>
<p>12:00 – One of the things I try to get across the people every time I talked to them is that they need to guard their hearing. Some of the concussive sounds that I have heard in the Army with no hearing protection on the market would have helped or would have protected it to that degree. Did you know that I get letters every single week from dentists who are working on teeth and they were getting negative impacts from how the drills are resonating.</p>
<p>23:10 – I love most music, we all love to listen to whatever type of music it is we listen to. That is really the whole reason that we did Melody Clouds and put it together the way that we did. Once I was able to figure out, okay, this is how binaural beats work. Let&#8217;s find out what other problems that binaural beats will help solve.&nbsp;</p>
<p>32:30 – The way that we&#8217;ve done it is I put all the binaural beats in a solfeggio and the guided meditations in one section. People who like binaural beats, they like the guided meditations and solfeggio has worked for them as well. They&#8217;re familiar with it, and they know how that works. Now, the one thing I did was, add images, all of the images in Melody Clouds are award winning art and award winning photography.&nbsp;</p>
<p>45:15 – That is our philosophy as well, because in the next month or two, we will have 8000 episodes of old time radio. So this is how that ties in. Instead of you sitting in front of a TV and watching a story, those radio programs, this required imagination, this will require you to think and visualize it yourself. So rather than being overwhelmed by all the visual and the sounds from a VR headset, which is becoming a problem, and it&#8217;s the opposite of relaxation for people.</p>

<p>When someone sincerely asks me for help, I try very hard to be present for that and to do what I can to further someone else&#8217;s goals. I do that because of the negativity that sometimes surrounds projects that I wanted, the people that are closest to us oftentimes are the ones that are the are naysayers. Don&#8217;t do this because other people are doing it. I look back at some very good advice that I was given. Every restaurant in the United States has a hamburger on the menu. That doesn&#8217;t stop McDonald&#8217;s, Burger King, In N Out, and Five Guys, along with other hamburger only restaurants. The bottom line, what I would say to people, is you don&#8217;t hear no, don&#8217;t ever hear no, hear not now, you&#8217;re not yet ready. But don&#8217;t hear no. If you want to do something, do it, do that thing, and do it well. Do it in the best way you possibly can. That&#8217;s what we really try to do with Melody Clouds. We stand on that.</p>

<h3>Rayko</h3>
<p>An “Emotional Conduit”, Rayko is a prolific songwriter and an energetic, sought- after vocalist Rayko composed the melodies for Gratitude and sang, played on and produced all pieces as well. Her compositions often contain themes of social justice, female perspectives and cross-cultural challenge. Born in Tokyo, Rayko also composed, arranged and performed songs for the award-winning Amazon Prime series, “Man In the High Castle.” Her other compositions include “Reaching For The Stars” and “Behind The Sun”—co-written with Grammy winner Isha Erskine, as well as the ending theme for the feature “The Wolves of Saving Hill”— featuring Kurt Fuller of “Pursuit of Happyness,” and the late Michael Massee of Spider-Man 2. Rayko is the vocalist in the house band of a popular Adult Swim show, and currently the voice of a brand new ride in Tokyo Disneyland.</p>
<h3>Frank</h3>
<p>Inspired by a recent trip down the Nile River to “The Birthplace of Civilization”, songwriter Frank Kilpatrick created Gratitude to, “Draw attention to everything we have to be thankful for.“ Frank created lyrics for all songs in the Gratitude suite and oversaw video and music production. He has written numerous songs in exploratory, harmonic and romantic genres that are available for licensing. Recently, he created “Stay Alive” – a 90-minute Suicide Prevention video podcast.<br />
Frank frequently collaborates with: Billy Hinsche – best known for his 30+ year touring role with The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson; co-Founder of Dino, Desi and Billy; and singer and/or songwriting contributor to the recordings of Elton John and Chicago and Scott Paige – best known for his work with the international traveling bands for Pink Floyd, Toto and Supertramp, as well as others.</p>

<p>05:15 &#8211; For those people who are interested in that, that&#8217;s a real, rich area to explore. What we do in our  gratitude videos that we&#8217;ve talked about, is we have encompassed some of that, let&#8217;s call it strategy. We don&#8217;t take the technical approach to it, you don&#8217;t have to understand what binaural beats are to appreciate what we&#8217;ve done.</p>
<p>06:00 &#8211; We&#8217;ve encompassed some of that in our gratitude videos, because we find that it&#8217;s more engaging to the listener. There is something about the mind, it wants to kind of resolve that little slight difference that they hear and in the frequency, the tone. So that makes it more engaging to draw you into meditation.</p>
<p>10:00 &#8211; I mean, it is very, very interesting how people react to certain music and when I am getting ready to volunteer again for the convalescent homes, and the the director, the activity director that I spoke to said, those Alzheimer&#8217;s patients don&#8217;t remember the names or the the places they went to. They don&#8217;t even speak much, but when they hear the music that they are familiar with, they start singing they have not forgotten the lyrics to the songs. So yes, music plays a huge role in mental illnesses, disabilities, you know, simple things like get you going.</p>

<p>28:00 &#8211; In addition to the audio, the thing that we did here is we took the audio, it&#8217;s kind of an introduction to meditation for some people tell us it&#8217;s a good place to start. But we also added video and we added an on screen informational kit content, which really kind of doubles the impact because you&#8217;re connecting multiple modalities.</p>
<p>30:00 &#8211; Our 90 Minute suicide is a film, it&#8217;s called stay alive. It was aimed at communicating with people who were in a very dark place.</p>
<p>41:00 &#8211; I&#8217;m from Japan. Yeah. I am a city girl, I&#8217;m from Tokyo and you know, city I know. Having worked with Tokyo Disney, the new newest ride the hottie ride with de Mads, like all six songs. It was it was really, really fun project.</p>
<p>51:00 &#8211; My partner is actually an ex car race driver. He raced for 20 years and he&#8217;s done enough carbon damage that he really wants to save the environment. He&#8217;s a two time cancer survivor when he was 19. He had cancer when he was 21. He got everything metastasized, and he was dying at 98 pounds and cannabis helped him survive.</p>

<p>I am a huge believer of not putting any limitations. Because the worst you get is a no. So I would encourage everybody to be fearless and do it, as long as it&#8217;s not illegal or hurting yourself or hurting them hurting others. Just put no limitations out there and just go for it. Just believe in yourself and if you get no then move on. But you know, no is the the worst that you get. Be kind to all living things, animals, the environment, the trees and oceans, and you know, do unto others. That&#8217;s always been my go to.</p>
