Baron Hoag, an executive director with over 25 years in chiropractic healthcare, discussed his journey from a sales role to founding One Chiropractic, a nonprofit advocating for the profession. He highlighted the challenges of traditional trade associations, citing a 310% membership growth in Ohio during his tenure. Baron emphasized the importance of chiropractic in enhancing brain-body communication and reducing inflammation. He also shared his subscription-based chiropractic model, offering four visits a month for $160, and his commitment to life balance, operating his clinic 27 hours a week. The conversation also touched on the limitations of allopathic medicine and the need for a more holistic approach to health. The conversation highlights the evolving perspectives on generational differences, particularly in the technology and health sectors. Speaker 1 notes the newer generations’ focus on research and data, while Speaker 2 discusses the archaic health practices in the military, emphasizing the need for chiropractic care to address non-combat-related injuries. They also touch on the political landscape and the potential for health reforms under new leadership. Speaker 2 shares personal experiences, including working with the DoD and suing the Australian government, to advocate for chiropractic care. The discussion concludes with a call to embrace passion over fear and think differently to achieve personal freedom.

Timestamped Show Notes:

14:50 – Most Chiropractors are the best practitioners, but they’re the worst business people, so they struggle, and they never really get ahead. They just kind of exist, paycheck to paycheck and it breaks my heart, because they’re amazing. Practitioners, if we could free up some of that stress for them, and a lot, which is part of what my nonprofit does now, is our whole thing is to advocate on behalf of chiropractic, defend the rights of the practicing chiropractor, and then advocate to get better saturation, meaning that, you know, still chiropractic is considered a alternative medicine. It’s still considered complementary, where my whole goal is, like, man, if you understood it, it should be the gatekeeper. We should start there, the brain and the body. No matter what other remedy you come up with, if the brain and body aren’t communicating, you’re it’s not going to be as effective as it could be. And so getting chiropractic engaged at the very beginning of a lot of these cases is going to help everybody. It doesn’t replace everything. It just puts the patient in the best footing to be able to get the most out of whatever other remedy they may get involved in.

31:05 –So this is why MD’s don’t know this stuff, because they’re taught based on the protocols from the pharmaceutical companies, because that’s who’s doing the research, and those protocols were built around prescribing some type of medication, and that’s why, like, if people understood how horrible statin drugs are, just how horrific they are. So cholesterol, blood pressure, all that stuff that everybody has. When you go in the blood work that MD’s are going to get, they are going to look at those types of things, we got to see if it’s good cholesterol, bad cholesterol, it’s such an easy thing to fix with lifestyle and a little bit of diet changes to get your blood pressure and cholesterol under control. For most people, unless there’s an underlying issue, but the allopathic world, because everything’s built on a diagnosis, and once there’s a diagnosis, there’s a protocol, there’s no individuality in the allopathic just checking boxes.

41:00 – I try to tell people, One Chiropractic is like Nike, but Nike has a tennis division, a golf division, an apparel division, an equipment division, but it’s all one company. So one chiropractic, our mission is to make chiropractic the number one healthcare choice in the world. That’s our that’s our why statement, okay, then what we do is we create projects that we believe will help us hit that goal. So one of them is defending the rights of practicing chiropractors. There are a number because allopathic medicine does not want us to succeed, like our way of life really does bankrupt the allopathic way of life. We don’t want people doing drugs. We don’t want people doing surgery. And so we’ve been under attack. And if you’re really a history geek and you want to go back to the 19 late 60s, early 70s, we actually won a case against the American Medical Association where they created a committee to eradicate chiropractic. They called it the Committee on quackery. And we won an antitrust case because they actually put into the code of ethics of MDS that if they referred to or worked with a chiropractor, they could lose their license. And so you had, you had generations of MDS that just hated chiropractic because they were indoctrinated to hate it because of their medical, medical school training. So we’ve been targeted forever. So like right now in British Columbia, Canada, all of a sudden the regulatory bodies decided chiropractors shouldn’t be able to do routine X rays. We’ve been doing X rays from our inception. Every country licensed chiropractors to do X rays, and they just, out of nowhere, said, Nope, they shouldn’t be able to do them anymore.

47:20 – Health is multi dimensional, and if you don’t believe it’s multi dimensional, then you’ve been lied to, and you’re buying the lie. Chiropractic is not the end all be all, but when it comes to making sure that my brain and my body are properly communicating, so that when I do exercise, when I do eat right, when I do meditate, when I do my massages, when I do any type of medical intervention, at least my body’s processing it the right way, right it’s it’s getting the information the right way, and it’s using it. But if I’m so drugged up and my brain doesn’t know truth from, you know reality from fiction, because it’s being lied to by all the chemistry that’s in my body, then how do you ever expect your body to be healthy? This is why, I mean, I remember growing up at one aspirin a day. It’s what you do for your heart. Now we have so many gastrointestinal issues, it’s unbelievable.

01:05:00 – Final Words

Our Final Words of the Show:

I’m going to answer that in two different ways. Number one, for me personally, my legacy is just to get people to think differently. If you just, if you’re just willing to think differently, I don’t care where that takes you. Maybe it takes you away from my opinion. I don’t care. I just don’t want you to believe what someone else told you to believe. I want you to believe something because you did the work and you gathered the information you needed to do it. I Some of my best friends are on the other side of the political spectrum, but I love them because it’s just the way they view the world. It’s not that they’re buying into someone else’s BS. And so we don’t have to agree. I can celebrate our differences and respect you because of your commitment and your diligence, even if it’s different than mine, because I think our world needs difference of opinion in order to get to a true, raw, appropriate product, anything untested, anything unchallenged, will never be the best ever, ever. That’s why we’re at a four minute mile because someone thought they could beat the five minute mile, and someone we’re at a five minute mile because someone said they could beat a six minute mile. Beat a six minute mile, right? Like nothing ever is better, unless there’s some challenge or contrast to it. And so I just my personal legacy. I hope, even though my niche is chiropractic, if you hear me, and for some reason, God puts things in a and we cross paths. Think differently. Just think differently, challenge what you’ve been told, and come up with your own understanding.

My the second way that I’m going to answer that question is, guys, I’m so blessed and happy because I found something I was passionate about, and my passion is stronger than my fear, and so it allows me to take steps forward. I just just at an event this weekend, speaking to a group of chiropractors and team members. And, you know, I just my talk went off the rails because I just something was on my heart, and I just followed it. And it was pretty much that I was looking in the audience. I saw so many people that just were not happy. They just weren’t happy with where they were in life, what they were doing. You know, they love their job, they love their chiropractor. It’s better than, you know, working in the factory or whatever. But they just, you could just see it in them. They weren’t exuding this passion for life, and it just broke my heart. I’m like, you know, my days are stressful. I definitely have crappy days. Everything brings that with it, but I am genuinely blown away, happy and blessed to do what I get to do. And you know, there’s, there’s a quote that they have for fear, that fear is a figment of our imagination, causing us to fear things that do not at present and may not ever exist. Danger is real, but fear is a choice, and I really weighed on that with them. And I’m like, I’m just asking you to choose to be passionate about something more than you fear it. And if we can find and it doesn’t matter what it is, if it’s kids, if it’s music, if it’s sports, if it’s healthcare, if it’s nutrition, if it’s exercise, whatever it is, get passionate about something in your life, and that passion will outweigh the fear that’s limiting you from chasing it, whatever that is, chase it because you were put on this earth to make to be a difference maker, to be a change agent. You just have to believe it and find something that you’re excited enough about to take those first few steps that seem so scary, but. Passion is going to override that fear. So that’s my challenge. That’s my legacy message to everyone, find something you’re so unbelievably passionate about so it gives you the confidence to take those steps to go towards it.

The hosts today discuss the common issue of headaches and the role of chiropractic care. Dr. Vrzal, a chiropractor with over 30 years of experience, shares his personal journey with headaches and his advocacy for drug-free, holistic solutions. He explains the seven specific headache patterns linked to various organs and the importance of listening to the body. Dr. V emphasizes the role of nutrition, supplementation, and stress management in maintaining health. He also highlights the limitations of traditional medicine and the benefits of functional medicine and biohacking. The conversation underscores the need for personal accountability in health and the value of integrative approaches. Dr. V discusses the connection between physical symptoms like upper trap tension and sacroiliac pain with underlying health issues such as blood sugar problems and yeast infections. They emphasize the importance of listening to one’s body and being an advocate for one’s health to improve quality of life. Dr. V suggests that if one were to see the future consequences of poor health choices, like eating sugar and grains, it would be a powerful motivator to change behavior. They also mention that certain foods, like corn, can trigger health problems like cortisol dumping and ovarian cysts. Scott agrees, noting the impact of inflammatory responses on joint pain and the importance of sharing health knowledge through their podcast. They both stress the significance of being proactive in health management and the enduring value of educational content.

Quote: “Headaches are the unseen foes in our daily lives, striking unexpectedly yet universally.”

Dr. Scott Vrzal, driven by constant debilitating headaches in his youth, was cured by a Chiropractor. He pursued a career in the same discipline inspired by the change. Initially misdiagnosed and advised to consult a psychiatrist due to the pain, he embarked on a mission to understand headaches’ root causes. With over 30 years of expertise, Dr. Vrzal refines pain patterns, advocates drug-free and holistic solutions, and shares his methods to a healthier lifestyle. His thriving practice reflects a personal commitment to health, performance, and relieving patients’ pain.

Timestamped Show Notes:

02:00 – Headaches are a hot subject for me, I got into it bcause of my headaches and my my lust for performance. I was a natural bodybuilder at the time and I’d get pounding headaches every time I did bench press.

10:30 – If the pec or clavicular muscle is not firing properly, we look at stomach function. If they have a low back pain in the flank area, we look at large intestine function. So when we we identify what the primary weakness is, and that’s the beauty of of headaches for me, I’ll circle back to that. But again, every muscle has associated organs. When we find these organ dysfunctions, these weaknesses, then we look at, is it a structural need or structural compromise that’s compromised in the muscle?

15:10 – It could be that you’re drinking your water out of a plastic bottle and you’re getting the estrogenic effects from from the plastics. It’s because at one of those pathways in the liver, we were just referring to, like your glutathione pathway. Maybe that’s not breaking the hormones down properly and it’s setting you up for this type of headache. So I would suspect when you’re currently on your your glutathione products, that you’re proably going to be a lot less likely to have those types of headaches.

26:15 – We want to keep the keep the toxic metals out, which means pesticides and that sort of stuff. So eating the organic vegetables, getting those, you know, grains are all adulterated. They have that Roundup influence, the glyphosate in there that compromises gallbladder function, which is why the right sided headache is the most common type of headache in America.

37:15 – When we’re stuck in that state, then we get the frontal headaches. We have compromised the stomach lining. You know, cortisol is a catabolic hormone, ultimately, and which means it breaks the body down. It’s going to break down muscle. So certainly, when we’re over training, we’re breaking down muscle. We need to then heal up and recover properly. So that frontal headache means that you’re not managing that, the body’s not managing the stress hormones properly, and it’s going to manifest as a frontal.

Download and Listen to the rest of our show!

01:00:00 – Final Words

Our Final Words of the Show:

It’s about changing the way people perceive health and what their body is trying to tell them pain is, I mean, with the applied kinesiology that the approach to healthcare that I use, it’s very, very, very evident that every, not you know, fibromyalgia, is 25 different pain patterns, or you know, different things like that, every not tells a story. So my I’m here to try to empower you the listener, to listen to what that pain is telling you. Any I mean, upper trap tension is typically a blood sugar problem, tent pain and the weakness and weak, weakness on the side of the neck, blood sugar feeding yeast, and that’ll manifest as sacroiliac pain, or low back, you know, tailbone kind of pain. So all of those have it tell a story, and I made it my, my life’s mission to, you know, any you know, Scott points to somewhere, you know here, I know, okay, that’s a lung issue, oh, that’s a gallbladder issue, that’s an adrenal issue, and I can go right to it, and then then there’s specific food triggers or lifestyle issues that are going to cause that.

So my whole thing, my my MO at this point, my legacy is listen to your body. It’s trying to tell you a story and be your own advocate. To identify what that is. Quality of life goes up, you know, the quantity of years. But even more importantly, the quality of those years exponentially changes. I’ve often said the best practice management tool I could have would be a crystal ball, you know. You know, Scott, you quit eating, you know, sugar, sugar and grains. This is how you’re, you know, you’re going to look in feel in 80 years. You know, you quit eating, you keep eating your sugar and grains. This is how you’re going to look and feel if you make it another 30 years, you know. So I mean, that would be the best motivating tool we could have. But pain is, is kind of that crystal ball to help us understand, oops, these choices are compromising my health. So let’s learn from them. Let’s be our best advocate that’s going to inspire their doctors. You know, the listener, your doctor, is going to potentially shift their paradigm as they recognize you figuring these things out. Then they’re going to tell the next person you know, hey, just you know, Scott quit eating sugar, and his neck pain went away. What about you?

Dr. Cori Stern has been helping people restore and optimize their health naturally since 2001. Her passion for alternative medicine grew out of a sick childhood characterized by a very poor diet, incessant chronic infections, and never-ending cycles of antibiotics. At the young age of 15, she decided to take her health into her own hands and began self-studying topics like the gut-brain connection, toxins, and how diet impacts a person’s overall well being. Later in life, upon re-realizing her childhood dreams of helping those who suffer heal naturally, she decided to become a chiropractor at 32 and graduated at 37. She now assists people all over the world with overcoming health challenges and advocating for their healthcare. Dr. Cori Stern oversees a busy private practice where she also educates other chiropractors on how to achieve optimal results with their clients. She is the creator of the Dr. Cori Stern – Take Control of Your Health channel known for its bite-sized information on a wide range of modern health topics.

Timestamped Show Notes:

05:15 – As chiropractors, we don’t call it dislocation, we call it subluxation.

09:50 – It can hurt when you’re walking and when you’re laying down, so it’s when any bone is in the wrong place. It can be very painful. It can limit your your activities and functioning. The level of pain can cause other problems to occur in your body. There’s inflammation going on and pain syndromes can really drain your energy and make your life miserable.

20:00 – Seed oils are super cheap to manufacture. So that actually is one of the reasons why they started to push it onto the population. This is my definition of food. This is how we explain what food actually is because most people don’t even think about this. “Food is anything that grows on the ground, grows on a tree, or has a mother and is minimally processed.”

26:00 – We teach people to understand the role that nutrition plays in their body. Most people don’t even know why they need to eat, they really don’t, if you ask the average person, they’ll say, for energy.

31:15 – Real milk is loaded with probiotics. When you pasteurize milk, you’re killing all the good stuff in it, you’re denaturing the protein. So I have a great video about raw milk on my YouTube channel, I interviewed the woman who started the organization called RealMilk.com, which is dedicated to helping people educating them about raw milk and raw dairy and where you can find it anywhere in the world.

39:45 – Almost all of us are nutritionally deficient. So it’s a little difficult to correct nutritional deficiencies with food alone. Even if you’re eating the best quality food a lot of people are starting off with deficiencies and you can’t eat enough of what you need to correct the deficiencies and that’s where supplements do come in handy. However, I use food based supplements so they’re actually still food. So even though there are pills or capsules, I tell my patients, this is food in the shape of a tablet. This will help correct the deficiencies that you have. The goal is that you won’t need it forever.

51:30 – We’ve been so inundated with chemicals that we kind have lost touch with our ability to know what our body needs. A lot of times when people have cravings, they’re actually craving nutrients that they’re deficient in. But they’re misinterpreting the craving and an eating sugar instead or eating salt. She was actually telling me on the video that she’s been training people to be able to do that, that self selection and we see changes with my patients when we get the processed food out of their body. It takes about 120 days to completely grow enough clean new cells to make a difference.

01:05:20 – Final Words

Our Final Words of the Show:

This is what I tell people about making choices about their health and their future. Decide if you want to live as long as you can, and be as healthy as possible. Live a long healthy life. So you can enjoy your grandchildren, whatever it is that you want to enjoy in life, or would you prefer to just do whatever the heck you want, just eat whatever you want, trash your body and go out with a bang. That’s the decision that you need to make along with the other ones. But if you want to live as long as possible and be healthy and happy and functional, then you need to eat a clean, nutrient dense diet and take care of yourself.

I grew up on a farm in Southeastern Indiana, where my family worked hard to make ends meet. We raised beef cattle, crop farmed corn and soybeans, and even raised a garden from which we canned vegetables to preserve them for the winter. Chickens frequently ran around the barn lot, and I can remember climbing around on the stacks of hay with my sister to search for chicken eggs to be gathered for breakfast. There were seldom dull moments on the farm with the raising of animals, and it seemed like every week some pigs would escape from their makeshift fenced lot and make their way into the front yard, where they would root up the lawn with their noses, looking for fresh grub. This would generally turn into an eventful morning because we would have to turn the acre of sod back over and try to fit each piece back to where it came from, like piecing together a jigsaw puzzle. Tending to the farm was a never-ending job that consisted of grinding feed for the animals, baling and stacking hay for days on end, and endless hours behind the wheel of a tractor tilling the soil for planting.

Quote: “One of the biggest challenges that we face today regarding our health is the mixed emotions of who is responsible for it.” — Trent Mozingo Twitter: @MozingoDC

I am the youngest of four children; in order of oldest to youngest—Travis, Troy, Tiffany, and Trent (that’s me). As you can probably imagine, our names would get mixed up quite often. Travis and Troy are nine and seven years, respectively, older than me, and my sister Tiffany, is two years older. Tiffany and I grew up thick as thieves. We were always bouncing around the farm looking for adventures, probably a little spoiled because our older brothers were taking care of most of the grunt work of farm life. Travis and Troy were like mentors to me. I always wanted to be just like them, so I would spend as much time analyzing their every move as I could. Still to this day, I feel like the little brother that’s trying to follow in their footsteps.

Our parents allowed us a great deal of free-thinking growing up. We had strong principles such as “Work comes before play” and “Always help a neighbor in need.” These embraced our daily lives. It always seemed like farm life provided a lot more work than play, but looking back on the years of growing up, I can see how it’s how I got to this point of my life. There is no debate: hard work pays off. As I write this, I am nostalgic about the undeniable blessing that my life has received. Our parents were not hovering parents; they allowed and demanded us to take responsibility for our own actions. They also helped each of us build confidence within ourselves to take on the tasks that lay in front of us.

There were times that making ends meet were more difficult than others, but there was never a time that money was wasted on paying to do things that we could do ourselves. Ours was a small farm; that meant our equipment was old and not under warranty. When the tractor broke down, we had to fix it. When the lawnmower blades became dull, we had to sharpen them ourselves. When we wanted a treehouse, we had to build it.

The confidence that our parents instilled in us certainly started my brothers and me out on the right foot. I can remember, as a small child, lying on the dirt floor of our barn holding a wrench for Travis or Troy as they worked to put a new axle into the back of our combine harvester. That was so they could make it a four-wheel-drive machine instead of two-wheel. During the harvest season that year, it rained constantly, turning our fields into a muddy mess. Without four-wheel drive, our combine would have been unable to reap the crops; thousands of dollars would have been lost.

We had no formal education on mechanics. We had no teacher to explain how to do mechanical things. John Deere mechanics were not there to help us. We were gifted the opportunity to figure out on our own how things worked, and we had no choice but to do it. This started for each of us at a young age. I was lucky to be able to piggyback on my brothers’ already unbridled ability to diagnose what was wrong with something by learning the principles of how it worked. I can assure you this: if you want to know how to fix things, you have to know how it works.

You don’t know your full potential until you have no choice but to fulfill it. There were times that our wood splitter was inoperative and we needed wood to burn in the stove of our home to stay warm in the winter. We had to fix it. There were times that the corn planter was not applying the correct amount of seed. We had to fix it. There were times when a cow was struggling to birth the calf. We had to help. There were times that the hay baler would not tie the strings properly to secure the bale. We had to figure it out. As the years passed, it became apparent that the hands-on approach to learning how things work provided a strong database of mechanical knowledge for my brothers and me.

We acquired a strong understanding of how things worked. We came across machines on which we had never worked before, and we just applied our ingrained logical thinking. Thus, the easier it became for us to understand how to fix things.

Timestamped Show Notes:

00:30: Introduction

10:00: I knew you and I would geek out about farming. But I think it’s interesting how a tie is ties back to a healthy lifestyle, weight management, nutrition, and lifestyle. What does DC mean to you? Doctor of Chiropractic.

20:15: There’s a ton of value in massage therapy alone. 80% of the patients see massage therapy in my office as well.

30:30: You seem to be pretty headstrong human. That’s a pretty important thing for overcoming stress. It’s very important to overcome anything. A lot of patients find some sort of satisfaction or relief from being diagnosed with something because then it takes away some of the stress. It takes away their responsibility.

40:00: It’s a preservative. It’s a sugar byproduct. It’s corn syrup.

49:50: What I touch on is their perception in the medical world, which is what a doctor hasn’t told you because they see it backwards. They see everything backwards. They have studies released that eating eggs is comparable to smoking cigarette, no it doesn’t make any sense. They have studies that says being overweight can cause heartburn or acid reflux. By the way, that study about the cigarettes thing was from a vegan doctor who has just been outed this year, that he actually never completed his doctorate.

01:04:16: Final Words

Our Final Words of the Show:

The most important thing is to take responsibility for your health. You’re the only one, no one should be more excited about your health than you are. Once you get excited about it, there’s a lot of really good answers out there. Now it’s this movement to whole food health that’s really changing a lot. There’s not a single person that I know, that I’ve ever treated, that made 100% of the right choices. They’ve come in and they’ve had a week that went by that was stressful, terrible traveling, whatever it was, but we get back on the horse. They clean it up again and then they just kind of watch their health get better.

Final Words:

Someone doesn’t have to be formally trained in something to apply it to life. I think that a lot of people think that I’m not an evolutionary biologist. You’re not traditionally trained in nutrition, but our life experience has given us the knowledge to apply that to our lives and help people in different ways to apply that to theirs.

I would encourage people to not be so narrow-minded when it comes to accepting advice from people. Let’s listen to their story, listen to how they got there. Take from them what you will learn and try to learn something from them. Even if you don’t end up doing what they recommend, you can take what you can from their story and what they learned. See if you can apply it to your life.

On This Episode You Will Hear:

[spp-timestamp time=”00:30″] Introduction

[spp-timestamp time=”12:00″] When we have an injury, your body learns a new way of functioning to protect or get around that injury. When the injury heals, or say you had the surgery, things get a little bit more back to normal function. The body doesn’t necessarily unlearn that way of functioning.

[spp-timestamp time=”20:00″] Consumers were not getting health insurance because it was too expensive, or they weren’t using it. That was throwing a wrench into the whole system. This whole for-profit system goes between practitioners, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies. They did this thing to protect the whole system, which made everybody have to get mandatory health insurance.

[spp-timestamp time=”31:00″] I’ve developed an initial consult that, this sounds kind of bad, but kind of weeds out the people that aren’t ready to make the changes necessary. Lots of people come to me expecting that I can give them something they can take. They sometimes expect that I can do something to them that will cure them. However, then they can go back to living their life the exact same way.

[spp-timestamp time=”40:00″] Interesting thing about diabetes, this is one of my favorite things that I’ve come across. One thing about evolution is that people don’t realize that humans are supposed to hit optimal evolution. We’re still evolving now. So one piece of evidence for that is when you go through medical school, you’re learning about diabetes, and metabolic syndrome and heart disease and things like that. We see a higher incidence and prevalence in people of minority descent compared to people of European descent. So Pacific Islanders, African American, Native American, these people are more susceptible to these diseases, they get them more readily and more severely.

[spp-timestamp time=”56:00″] Final Words

CoreFit teaches us patience:

I love to go out and meet with my co-host’s live and in person. Today I am at a local chiropractor office here in Allentown, Pennsylvania. We are meeting with a newly independent entrepreneur and chiropractor here in 2016. A husband of an old friend of mine as well, it’s a small world. Today lets welcome Dr. Mark Walter of CoreFit Chiropractic to the LIVETHEFUEL Show.

This episode with Dr. Mark is about reprogramming you. We all look for the quick and easy solutions. A pill won’t solve everything.

On This Episode You Will Hear:

[spp-timestamp time=”1:48″] Where Mark is now and his background journey to getting there

[spp-timestamp time=”5:24″] Hotshots and Smoke Jumper Firefighters

[spp-timestamp time=”8:51″] Dislocating a rib – Transverse Process

[spp-timestamp time=”12:40″] Including Chiropractic as a pain management method and moving away from the “Alternative” stigma the field had been labeled in

[spp-timestamp time=”16:44 “] Addiction – “If you are a hammer, all you are going to see is nails”

[spp-timestamp time=”18:26″] You are what you eat

[spp-timestamp time=”20:47″] With standard MD education you would be lucky to receive two hours of education on nutrition. We have been marketed to, that you will find the answer to everything through a pill.

[spp-timestamp time=”23:23″] DC – Doctor of Chiropractic, DO – Doctor of Osteopathic

[spp-timestamp time=”26:26″] We all look for a quick easy solution. We have to look whats going on dietary, one of the biggest problems we have is to do with inflammation.

[spp-timestamp time=”29:05″] Inflammation is like a fire going on inside of your body. How healthy are you to put that fire out?

[spp-timestamp time=”30:10″] What an adjustment is vs a mobilization is

[spp-timestamp time=”32:24″] The Balance Equation

[spp-timestamp time=”34:06″] Saying “I want to Quit Something” or “Lose Something”, is setting you up for immediate failure. This creates a physiological reaction and a feeling of loss. Use words like, “Replace” and “Get rid of”.

[spp-timestamp time=”38:51″] People just don’t realize how unbalanced they really are

[spp-timestamp time=”41:23″] It’s a lifestyle and a journey not a destination

[spp-timestamp time=”46:10″] Listen to you body, know what your strengths and weaknesses are and know when to cut back. A lot of people don’t do enough mobility work, stretching etc

[spp-timestamp time=”48:05″] Neuromuscular control, swimming and gymnastics – Reprogramming your software
