<p>10:30 – So it&#8217;s interesting, I mean, there&#8217;s a lot of problems in the world today. But there is no better time to be alive, right?! Think about it, we can create in the way that&#8217;s easiest for us. For me, it&#8217;s the same way, over podcasts, I can talk. But you know, writing a blog, that&#8217;s a homework assignment, but we can talk and then we can repurpose it either with technology or the people helping us and make blogs out of it, make videos out of it, etc. You know, I always say if I talk for 45 minutes, my team can find like two minutes of genius in there.</p>
<p>21:15 &#8211; I have gone through a few microphones and always want to sound better. If you talk you want the good quality, right?&nbsp;In podcasting, we must take pride in our audio quality.</p>
<p>29:45 &#8211; There&#8217;s a great marketing phrase out there, you&#8217;re just one funnel away. I also think it&#8217;s the biggest lie out there, because what works for small transactions does not work for high ticket relationship sales? Everybody keeps saying, oh, you&#8217;re just one funnel away. Tell me Scott, the best things in your life, right, does your wife come through a funnel?&nbsp;Ha!</p>
<p>34:00 – Well, I had a client that came to me and I said, well, why do you want to do podcast interview marketing? I loved his answer. He was a high level consultant. He said, because he thinks most of digital marketing today is the equivalent of advertising above urinals.</p>
<p>40:00 – Even if it&#8217;s all automated and a funnel, it doesn&#8217;t matter because you&#8217;re wasting their time. It&#8217;s like, why don&#8217;t you get five leads and five customers? That&#8217;s one of the things I love about podcasting. Somebody&#8217;s listening to you. You&#8217;re either their guy or you&#8217;re not. If you are great, then they reach out to you and ask how can we work together. They self select, but if you&#8217;re not a good fit for him, then fine, but let&#8217;s figure that out early on. Because at the end of the day, we don&#8217;t need more leads, we need more need more sales.</p>
<p>52:00 – For example, we just mentioned Sopranos. There was a seasonality to it. Each season can change in the theme, so you&#8217;re not locked in. So this season, we can talk about health this season, or we talked about business. So as different things come up, you can focus on it.</p>

<p>The thing that&#8217;s on my heart right now is we all know something that is ordinary to us and is amazing to other people, right? But you know, I used to be able to say, well, if I got up to the pearly gates, and and they say, you were taught all these things, well, how come you didn&#8217;t teach somebody else that I could say, well, you don&#8217;t understand. <p>I&#8217;d say just get started. Just do it and execute. Too often people say, oh, yeah, I&#8217;m going to do that after they listen to this podcast. I don&#8217;t know how many episodes they&#8217;ve listened to. But if you&#8217;re one of those guys or gals that have listened to all these episodes, and you&#8217;re still kind of in the same rut, or same position you&#8217;re in right now&#8230; Stop lying to yourself, I say don&#8217;t lie, don&#8217;t lack in execution, just do it! If you if you&#8217;re like, oh, yeah man, I gotta set aside the time to do the system. You don&#8217;t, the next time that you&#8217;re actually doing a process, or doing a thing, just video document it. Give a fellow employee your cell phone and say, hey, record me saying this while I&#8217;m training you, or hit record on the screen software. We&#8217;re using screen recording software and you just record it. Just start executing and getting it done. Because unless you take that first step, it just won&#8217;t happen. The biggest gap that I see with entrepreneurs is between knowing what they need to do and executing. So just do it, just execute.</p>
