Every decision I make in my business is based on who’s going to do the work. Is it me? Or is it someone else? If it’s me that has to do the work then I don’t want to do this, I don’t want to pursue this project. That’s the way you make decisions towards getting your way down from 50 hours a week to 38 to 27 to 17. Who’s going to do the work is it me or is it someone else? It’s got to be someone else or we can’t pursue and that’s lifestyle balance.

You shouldn’t hire a programmer to write this content. Don’t hire an audio editor and say, hey, also do my SEO. In the beginning, I hired a general VA.
- [30:00] If you’re telling me that you’re the ultimate hustler, and you’re putting in 60 to 80 hours a week, that’s a concern. What you’re showing me is that you haven’t figured it out. You don’t have a continuation game plan. That’s my concern, you didn’t build a business, you built a job.
- [40:00] I’ve seen lots of people go through this. I couldn’t hire someone to do what I needed. It wasn’t cost effective here, however, it was cost-effective in the Philippines. My business grew where my business would have failed. I then reached a point where I could afford to hire someone here in the USA. I love Filipinos because they have created jobs in the US too.
- [52:00] The ending advice that I always give is, you have to try it. You have to try this and see if it works for you. If you don’t try it, you’ll never know. If you tried it and it doesn’t work, at least you know. It only costs you a couple of hundred bucks. If it does work, the upside is so high. The risk here is so out of proportion of the reward. You just have to try and see what happens, that’s what I went through.
