<p>05:25 &#8211;&nbsp;Now, did she ever get the chance to work remote until these crazy 2020 changes? Or no? No? Oh, so this is her first opportunity experiencing what you and I know.</p>
<p>10:00 &#8211; We transitioned from remote to the office, which was actually like a huge culture drain for people, we can slowly tell that people started to hate it more and more as they drove to the office. Some people moved to Florida and they missed their family. There&#8217;s a lot of elements going on there. I think personally, I mean, I never had a corporate job after college. I&#8217;m much more productive remote, where I can work in shorts and a T shirt and wake up and I usually do the most important thing every day and kind of have my own schedule.</p>
<p>22:40 &#8211; Absolutely, but they&#8217;re doing a great job with live streaming. I&#8217;m a workout junkie, I do intense workout every day and their live streams are awesome. They have a bunch of people together. It&#8217;s fun. It&#8217;s high energy and it&#8217;s all I&#8217;ve been doing as a workout since COVID started. So it&#8217;s kind of the the force pivot that they had to do, but very smart.</p>
<p>30:13 &#8211; We sold pre op in November of last year. We launched Outsourcing School in March of 2020. So once we got through the holidays and celebrated, we hit the ground running with our school.</p>
<p>41:55 &#8211; We are cracking the code, we go through interviewing, onboarding, training and managing. A lot of the reducing turnover stuff comes down into the management part, although there&#8217;s parts of it and interviewing and onboarding. In terms of marketing, we have lead generation, we have influencers out there, and we have podcasts.</p>
<p>49:40 &#8211; It&#8217;s a real role in your company. It&#8217;s something very important, like customer service or sales. The default should always be full time. Now, I always say that with hesitation because if you&#8217;re someone listening and you can&#8217;t afford someone full time, you should absolutely hire someone part time and eventually make them full scale, hire another person.</p>

<h2><strong>Our Final Words of the Show: </strong></h2>
<p>To me, life&#8217;s too short to do stuff that you don&#8217;t want to do. I&#8217;m all about flexibility, freedom, doing whatever you want, whenever you want, within reason. If you don&#8217;t have that flexibility and you&#8217;re an entrepreneur, chances are it comes down to your systems, your processes, your teams, and if everything we talked about sounds a little bit overwhelming. Start off with just getting five hours a week back you&#8217;ll be amazed at just hiring a five hour week virtual assistant what it&#8217;ll do for your personal life, your relationships, your business life, your focus by the stuff like that can be game changers like guy that&#8217;s gonna cost you 1300 bucks a year. You&#8217;re gonna get six and a half weeks back a year just by hiring a VA for five hours a week. It&#8217;s gonna get addicting. And my goal is to get as many people as possible into that flexibility, freedom lifestyle that I&#8217;m in, and I&#8217;m very grateful for.</p>

<p>00:30 &#8211; Introduction</p>
<p>10:00 &#8211;&nbsp;Yeah six months evaluating, figuring out what the risk is, the pros, and the cons. We went through all of that and narrowed it down to the basics. Then we hired an individual for us first. So we hired, gosh, tomorrow will be the anniversary, five years ago tomorrow.</p>
<p>20:00 &#8211; So our clients had prepared two weeks&#8217; worth of work based on the individual, the American that this individual was replacing, and she went to Thailand. She thought she&#8217;d have plenty of time. Well on the first Thursday at 4 am the VA had done all of the work and she was like, oh my gosh, what do I do?</p>
<p>30:00 &#8211; Their work ethic was through the roof and the guy was a self-starter. If he started running out of work, he would look at other areas of the business relationship to see what else could be done. I remember him, he joked around, he&#8217;s like, there was some programming or some issues with the website and he just went and taught himself code and learned how to fix the website for himself. I didn&#8217;t ask him to do that but he ran out of stuff to do.</p>
<p>40:00 &#8211; What we do is have a client pick options. So I give you three. So let&#8217;s say you&#8217;re the client, Scott, if I give you three amazing people. Your general feeling is, oh my god, I love them. I like all three of them and a lot of times my clients will take more than one, one or two, but those three could do that job you need. So let&#8217;s say you pick Jane. I&#8217;m going to work starting next Monday with Jane and we have different certifications. We&#8217;ve got customer service, front office, back office, we&#8217;ve got sales support, got accounting, it doesn&#8217;t really matter. This certain person gets kind of a little bit caught up on the certification, but the reality of the certification is you can hide from somebody for eight hours, okay, you know, and you can put up a good front, you can&#8217;t hide from me for 40 hours, you just can&#8217;t. I&#8217;m going to find out you&#8217;re a slacker. I&#8217;m gonna find out that you&#8217;re not smart enough to do what we need to do.</p>

<p>I think if you&#8217;ve had a bad experience, don&#8217;t let that stop you, don&#8217;t let that fear hold you back. Yeah, we provide the easy button for people that want to do this. You don&#8217;t have to learn to know everything, we do that, we&#8217;ve done it hundreds and hundreds of times, we have that great 97.2 success rate. We definitely know what it takes to be successful. I&#8217;m not afraid to tell a client that sometimes the problem is you, so let&#8217;s fix it. We are very involved and if I think you need to do something different, I am going to help coach you through that so that you can have a better result, at least to the best of my ability. It&#8217;s important to me, again from a kind of a personal place, that we provide amazing careers for the VA but we also provide amazing talent for our clients. The only way you can do that with human capital is to care and to be open to ideas and suggestions. Have a partner that really wants what&#8217;s best for you. I feel Hiresmart, specifically, Mark and I, want our clients to experience what we know is possible because you&#8217;ve gone through it, as we&#8217;ve done it. It&#8217;s never for us. It&#8217;s never been about being the biggest, it was about being the best. So we&#8217;re a boutique. We&#8217;re not for everybody and we&#8217;re not going to be the fortune 100 VA company.</p>
