<p>00:30 &#8211; Introduction</p>
<p>10:30 &#8211; I&#8217;ve actually played around with different processes, I&#8217;ve done dehydrate, like, basically hydrated than dehydrated down to the time of my show. It&#8217;s been so tight that I&#8217;ve tried to lick the water off my toothbrush on that Friday before the show. I know that there are ways of not cutting your water, like this last show, that I did it for.</p>
<p>20:00 &#8211; If you actually know what your body fat percent is, that will also play into getting that number into you. A lot of the times I&#8217;ll find that people are not as active, they&#8217;re not as conditioned. That&#8217;s a big key in deciding where your calories are, the more conditioned you are changes that process.</p>
<p>27:30 &#8211; So let&#8217;s talk about the muscle, if you don&#8217;t strength train your muscles, it&#8217;s just like going you&#8217;re not using it. It&#8217;s going to slowly decrease in strength in size. So it&#8217;s a muscle that changes size. So the bigger it is, the stronger can be the more blood flow to the to the muscle you get and that it&#8217;s hungry. So if you look at my body fat and my muscle, it is a certain percent. You can take somebody else with the same weight, but just a different composition, and maybe they have less muscle mass. I will require more calories, because my I have more muscle to feed. So if you just kind of let that go, you&#8217;ll see, like my own BMR is so low. I don&#8217;t want to just eat 1200 calories. If you get to increase your muscle size, you&#8217;ll also see a correlation with your BMR to go like going up very nice.</p>
<p>38:00 &#8211; I&#8217;m putting out another book. Actually, my nine year old daughter&#8217;s gonna help me write it because I want to help parents with their kids nutrition. She&#8217;s nine and she&#8217;s very passionate about writing, and eating healthy. All of my kids are but they&#8217;re still kids. But you know, we&#8217;re still teaching them to look at the labels that you need to know.</p>

<p>I talk about act as if&#8230; , and you need to finish that act as if, you know, I was put into a couple of different situations where I didn&#8217;t think I didn&#8217;t want to land there. But I was there and now I had two decisions I either needed to just kind of feel bad for myself and just kind of like, alright, just throw in the towel, or I need to act as if I know what I&#8217;m doing and just get out. That was my point of acting as if we&#8217;re going to be in situations where you feel unfit. You&#8217;re going to be in a situation where you don&#8217;t feel like you&#8217;re fit enough to start eating healthy. Or you&#8217;re not in the right spot to start taking care of yourself or even to just do some activity. You&#8217;ll always feel that way. There&#8217;s not going to be a perfect time but you need to act as if that you give a damn, you&#8217;re going to need to act as if you can do it. Even though you might not be able to, and that&#8217;s my biggest message. It is if you start acting, you&#8217;ll start believing, you&#8217;ll start doing, and then you&#8217;ll be able to celebrate all your accomplishments.</p>

<p>First, I think if you&#8217;re listening to the podcast, you probably have an interest in health and performance and being the next level you wouldn&#8217;t be otherwise you&#8217;d be watching something&nbsp;distracting. So first I want to honor that.</p>
<p>Second I want to say is be willing to experiment, be willing to take steps you can always on to nowadays you can usually find someone that&#8217;s already been down that pathway that you want to experiment with and you can see if that works for you. I think that&#8217;s a great tool.</p>
<p>Third, always keep learning because the game keeps changing all the time.</p>
<p>Then the final piece I would say is don&#8217;t underestimate the power of fixing your digestive system. My business partner is a ketogenic guy, I&#8217;m a vegetarian, we&#8217;re both as far off the spectrum of mutual formats or dietary choices. We&#8217;re dietary agnostic, and what I mean by that is that I think that everybody should choose the diet that works for their lifestyle, their genetics, and epigenetics. Remain flexible enough that they&#8217;re willing to spend a bit of time experimenting with other things in order to see if there&#8217;s something they might be able to add from some other perspective as opposed to narrowly attacking other people because they&#8217;re doing something that&#8217;s right for them, which I think is so asinine.</p>

The problem is that the environment is so toxic to that person and that person is so poorly educated in fact, he&#8217;s indoctrinated into beliefs that were guaranteed at this dysfunctional level of health or certainly what they&#8217;re capable of. Plus, that there&#8217;s almost no hope for that individual unless they want to make radical statements and follow people who are willing to go out and fail and try these other things and come back and say, hey, look, here&#8217;s what I learned about this, try and avoid this.</li>
<li>[spp-timestamp time=&#8221;52:30&#8243;] In order for me to overcome my physical challenges, I had to correct my gastrointestinal system. I had created inflammation following a bodybuilding type diet.</li>
